How has it been since Piven left? I want to rush for the Saturday matinee, but don't know if it will be crazy busy since it's the holiday weekend. Thoughts/experiences?

my friend and i got to the box office tonight about 6:30 and got 2nd row seats.
Norbert isn't entirely off book, but he was phenomenal.

I was there on Saturday and got a ticket in the fifth row center. Awesome seats! Norbert is AMAZING!

I rushed tonight's performance, was fourth in line and got Row H seat 105. Fantastic view.

I absolutely can't wait to see this. When I arrive in New York on the 1st, running to the box office (suitcase and all) might actually be the first thing I do.

Wow, I haven't done rush since the beginning of the run because I was able to get cheap tickets in advance through another outlet, but this makes rush sound kind of enticing!

I'm excited to finally try my luck next Saturday! Should be fun. Hopefully it's not to hard to get seats.

Thanks for all the help! I rushed today at about 1:15 for the 2PM show, and I got center orchestra N and my friend (who purchased separately) got left orchestra row J, but not side view. Great seats and the whole cast was excellent. It was also a thrill hearing Pepe give a pre-show speech, which I guess will be at every performance until Norbert is completely off-book.
There was a lot of love at the curtain call, too...Raul and Norbert embraced with huge smiles just as the lights came back up and Norbert walked off with Elisabeth on his arm.

It's been widely reported that 1/11 would be his last show, but they don't have a show on that day. They altered the schedule by adding a show to the previous Monday so that Piven could attend the Golden Globes, so actually Norbert's last show is on Saturday 1/10.

are we sure about Norbert's last performance saturday night? I'm coming home that morning and hopefully will make it, but I hope that it's on sunday.

They do not have a show on Sunday the 11th. It was cancelled so that Jeremy Piven could go to the Golden Globes. Macy begins performances Tuesday, the 13th. So yes, Norbert's last is the evening show on the 10th.
