Spelling Bee Poster

Posted: 7/1/06 at 5:27pmThe other day on my walk home I passed by a poster for Spelling Bee. At first I thought it was the same one I always see that says "The funniest thing in seven consonants" on it with the little claymation characters on chairs, and then when I got closer I saw that it didn't have the claymation characters- it had pictures of the actors in the exact same positions as the other version inserted into the cartoon background. I had never seen it before and it was so cute! Have I just been living under a rock or are these new?

I know what you're talking about... I've seen it online before...
I'll hunt for it.

Posted: 7/3/06 at 10:27amIt's new, they just started putting those up. It's cute, but in a couple weeks Jesse will be gone so it will no longer be the correct cast.

Posted: 7/3/06 at 12:19pmohh! I saw that on Saturday! I was on 8th avenue and I got all excited because I noticed the poster seemed different from across the street so I ran right over and looked at it. I was contemplating pulling one off the wall, but decided against it because that would be illegal, and there would be less advertising for the show. And I do want everyone to see it. so yea. That's my story for today.

Thanks for the direction--
Sorry for the pointless question.
That poster is way cute, though.

Posted: 7/4/06 at 6:58pmYeah! Thanks for the pic zerose- I would have taken one myself but am having problems with my digital camera. If anyone wants to see it in person, I saw it at 9th and 39th. It seems funny that they would start using posters with actors so late into the run. I mean it's not the original cast, and in a few weeks it won't even be the current cast. It almost seems like a waste, but I'm not going to complain because they're super cute and I'm pro just about anything related to Spelling Bee.

Do you think this new sitcom will pan out for JTF?
I hope so. . .it's been fun watching the Broadway babes transfer over into television and films--and doing it successfully!
I mean, practically the entire cast of Grey's Anatomy has a background in the stage. . .

Posted: 7/4/06 at 7:08pmI hope Jesse's sitcom does well - the producing team has done good work in the past, and it seems like a pretty original show..

Posted: 7/4/06 at 9:45pmI hope his sitcom does well, so I can see him everyweek, but then again I hope it doesn't run to long because I want to see him back on Broadway. Alas, the world does not revolve around me.
