I hate these kinda posts but I can't think of where else to turn, so here goes.
I'm gonna be in the city from the 19th-21st and the 19th is the only day I have to catch a show. My question is, is Spelling Bee at TKTS yet? (doubt it) and do they do a lottery or rush pricing.
Thanks for the help in advance

the lotto policy is explained on their site

but apparently its insanely hard to win with the wicked lotto spill over. They do SRO as well....theres a lot of threads on here that give tips for snagging standing room.
Im going to see Bee for the first time on Saturday. Some friends got tix and I didnt think I could go so I didn't snag a ticket...for a while it was telling me there were no tix available and sold out. I checked for 4 days straight til I snagged a really fantastic single seat so I could join them. I paid full price but lotto and SRO are a risk. Even if it says the day you want to go is sold out...keep checking telecharge bc chances are something will pop up.

I saw this show last night. I had an SRO ticket which I bought at 2pm on the day of the show. I don't know if they only release those tickets once the seats are all sold.
It cost $25 and was worth it. The view was good, and all the other tix are $95. In my opinion, although the show is fun, it isn't worth that much.

Posted: 7/7/05 at 3:36pmThanks for the help. I knew there would be no way in hell of catching it at tkts. Looks like standing room might be a decent way to go.

Posted: 7/7/05 at 3:40pmNo probs. The SRO tix are good value. And you get a bar to lean on.

Hey there...I'd be willing to be it won't be on TKTS. Also, if you can get SRO, I'd go for that. I was lucky enough to win the lotto on Sunday night, but it was SUPER busy (my fourth time trying w/ a lotto buddy each time). I'd say about an additional 50++ people entered after Wicked's matinee let out.

Posted: 7/7/05 at 4:35pmIt's an OK show. There are better shows, like DRS, Ave Q, Spamalot, Sweet Charity....
