Last night's performance of Spend Spend Spend at the Watermill had to be abandoned half way through the show after an on-stage accident had the stage dripping with blood! Greg Barnett, the actor playing Keith, split open his finger on a golf club used as a prop and the wound was bleeding profusely.
Greg and the rest of the cast will be back on stage tomorrow like great troupers though. But, as Greg cannot now play the piano, there's an emergency rehearsal tomorrow to sort out alternative musical options amongst the actor-muso cast.
I'm seeing the show tomorow night - should be interesting!
