Since there aren't that many threads regarding Spider-Man on this board, and since no one seems to have an opinion about it AT ALL, I thought this would be a fun place to discuss the (LARGELY NEGATIVE) reviews the show has received. A sort of anti-love thread, if you will.
Sincerely,
A Big Meanie

I've been looking for a place to vent my proverbial spleen FOR AGES. Thankyou so much.
As for the show, it's a bit of a let down.

I have the best of both worlds
I have not seen it & yet I have a Playbill (which I will cherish) courtesy of a friend in the building who saw it last night. Saved a few bucks & still have the playbill. I was not going to see it anyway unless one of those recordings popped up.

I saw it yesterday, so please send flowers with your condolences!
There was a lot I liked about the show, and there was much I didn't like. I hated the music, and the orchestra. The flying was so-so with the mechanisms overhanging. I did delight in the pop-up set and some costumes. I liked the STAGEBOUND choreography.
The plot was difficult for me. I've never seen the films, or a comic of the story. The ONLY WAY I'D recommend this is if you pay under $70 per ticket.
Now on to the Book of Mormon!
