Spiderman Stage Management

Obviously because of Spiderman's many unconventional technical demands, Spiderman has a rather large Stage Management team. But looking at the team, they have two positions called "sub stage managers". Does anyone know what this term means or what exactly their job entails?

It's probably just two people as stage managers like instead of assistant stage manger they both share the duties equally.

Sub Stage Managers are those that are on call. Each deck SM has a sub that if they cannot be at the show- they call to cover them.

What LaurPenn2 said, they are most likely substitute members of the team that cover sick days, holidays, etc.
There is the slight possibility that they are regular members of the team that quite literally work "sub stage" in the trap room. I would assume that it's the former though.
