Spiderman- THE MUSICAL

This is coming to Broadway and when it does, I may have to hang myself. Broadway producers must really be getting desperate. I thought Carrie the musical was enough evidence for these people to stop making bad movies into musicals! IT WONT WORK!

Like that thread talked about, there have been a lot of ideas for shows that seemed bad and then turned out to be amazing shows. Lets not start making fun of a show until we all see it.

This and Batman would be AWESOME!

When seeing Spiderman 2 again yesterday, I was thinking about where songs could go in the plot.

There could be some great and very moving songs about the CHOICE to be Spiderman, the STRUGGLE in deciding to be Spiderman, or have a life and marry the woman Peter Parker loves, etc.

Instead of flying across the stage, he could kind of just elevate above it and not move.

Like I said in the last thread about this, it would only work if it stayed true to the comic and movie and be about the human aspects of the story instead of the action aspect. And I think if they followed the script to Spider-Man 2, it would probably really work.

Well you would obviously need some action, but the plot shouldnt revolve around it.

that is what I meant. I mean, a lot of superhero stuff is all about the action. Spider-Man is more human driven
