Does anyone know when the contracts for the leads in Spring Awakening are set to expire? I know that this is vague, but I am really just wondering about Jonathan Groff and John Gallagher Jr. If anyone has information about the rest of the cast too, that would be great.
I couldn't find anything on a search, and I've been wondering because I have tickets for Sept. 29th. Speaking of which, does anyone know if there are any scheduled vacations during that time?
One more thing, those of you who sat in the front row on stage, how was it? That is where we have our tickets. I've looked in all of the threads about people sitting on the stage, but none who have had front row have really commented.
Thanks.

I heard Groff and Gallagher have contract until November. I believe Lea has a vacation in September. Not sure of the exact dates.

November, with options to extend.
Front row of the on-stage seating is fine, no worries.

Most of them will be staying past september. Lea has a vacation in september, but no one knows the dates yet. The front row is amazing.

Yeah Groff has said several times that he plans on staying till they toss him out. I know Lea has other offers but it sounds like they kids are all having A GOOD TIME.
I heard Remy and Gideon were leaving around August/ September.
Skylar will be leaving for a few months at the end of the year to do FEELING ELECTRIC (Yes, its confirmed, as per what Skylar said at the stage door).

Remy and Gideon are both deferring, I think. At the end of the year as in December? Will Phoebe be leaving with him? I know she was involved in Feeling Electric too.
If you're in the front row, keep your legs tucked in. They're an energetic cast, and you might get stomped. I think that's all you really need to worry about. I was second row stage-seating and the only problem I had was Robert Hager blocking my view in one scene (and backs, of course, but I was expecting backs). With front row stage-seating, you'll get backs, but no blocked views. :3

This is Gideon's second year deferring. Is there a limit on that?
I don't believe this is Gideon's second time.

He deferred this past year for the show as well. He would be a rising sophomore.
Actually, I think I heard that this is Gideon's second tiem as well.
Really? I feel dumb I didn't know that...
I believe in the NY Magazine interview (or somewhere else), it siad he was deferred one year from NYU. I'll find it.
You can defer as many times as the university will allow. For most cases, its just one year. However, the university holds the right to allow the particular time period (at least, thats my understanding)
How long do you think they'll allow the OBC to stay in their roles? I mean, they're playing 15 year olds and very few of them actually look like teenagers. What do you guys think?
