I guess they didn't find what they were looking for at the open calls...

Much of the tour has been cast from open auditions. I believe they are continuing to look for more replacements for the b'way cast as the remaining OC begins to leave.
2 or 3 new ensemble members (one that started tuesdsay --Matt Shingledecker) were all cast through the open call/video submissions.

Would it make sense to go to this if I just went to the April 13 open call?

What's the worse that could happen...they don't see you again?
A few of the OBC said they auditioned several times before they got called back.
I say: go for it!

So I should audition a second time?

I think Broadway shows are required to have an equity open call every so often. Even if they're not in need of replacements!
There's nothing wrong with going again! Break a leg

But I'm non-equity. Would I just go and wait and hope they can see me?

Yes, there's nothing to guarantee that you'll definitely get seen. But I say go for it anyway!

if you're not Equity, then don't go to the EQUITY CALL. there's a reason they have seperate calls.

Yeah but Eryn Murman went to the the equity call last year and now look.

Jaded- I want to go but am worried that it will be too close from my last audition...

I think I may go again, though I went in Boston last month. I'll just hope I get seen and sing a different song.

you should absolutely go to the equity call. its a required EPA which means that it will most likely not have a great equity actor showing. I would say get there early, sign up on the non union list and wait and see if you get seen. they will see you if they have time.
don't worry about it being too close to your last audition. 1st, the casting assistant is probably not the same one that saw you last time and if they are the same, they won't remember you. 2nd there's nothing wrong with auditioning for the same show a bunch of times. just go and see what happens. worst thing that could happen is you won't get seen.

THanks!
A friend is wondering what time would be "safe" to sign up as a non union actor if the boys start at 2:30PM? Does the non union list start around 9AM with the girls, or can one technically probably still get seen if they sign up around 11 or 12 before the 2:30 call?
Any input would be great
