Spring Awakening Revival Cast Recording

I don't know about you guys, but I'm totally bummed that they did didn't make a cast recording of the revival of Spring Awakening. So, I decided to make a makeshift one for myself. I found an audio of the full show (the final performance to be exact) and edited all of the songs, added all of the info and put it in correct order. It's not absolutely amazing, but it's obviously better than nothing.

If anyone wants me to send it to them I'll totally do that. I also still have the full audio of the show. PM me if you're interested.

It was filmed, just for the New York Public Library, so it'll be absolutely impossible to get.

I agree that it's a bummer. I loved the score as a teen and would have liked another take on it. Someone had the idea that they should have filmed it in the theater and did a cast recording as a double album sort of thing, which probably would have happened if this production had been a hit.

No, it's only for people needing it for research, with lots of press passes and authorizations.

I wish they would release the recording, maybe for purchase, to the public, because I would love to watch the show again, and having a cast recording really just wouldn't do it justice.

Yep! It's actually not hard at all. I am a teacher so I often say my students are going to be studying "blah, blah, blah". I didn't even have to present my Teacher ID when signing up for it!
