So Kyle just left the tour and was replaced by Jake and a while ago Clarie left and was replaced by Krista...

Does anyone know of any others that are leaving the show soon and their replacments???

Who would you like to see replace Blake... any current understudies???

I would like to see Krystina Alabado replace Steffi D for Ilse and for Wendla I would like to see Krista Pioppi and I would really like to see Lucas Wells as something other than the Chair of Rock!!!

What are your thoughts???

Lucas Wells is a fantastic Moritz. And I can say this because I saw him (sort of). Most of the tour cast of SA came to my school to perform, but Blake Bashoff didn't want to come at 9:00 at sing Don't Do Sadness, so Wells did it. He was great!, even at 9:00 in the morning. Vocally, he was as good as Bashoff. Also, he (and the rest of the cast) were incredibly nice when I visited with them afterwards.

I've heard rumors that a girl named Kayla Foster will be joining as a Wendla understudy-presumably when Julie Benko leaves in August. Ben Moss will be leaving sometime in August, I believe I heard August 16th was his, Perry's, and Julie's last show. Though, Perry might be leaving after the DC run and then Blake is leaving August 16th, I'm not entirely sure which is was.

I saw a new replacement swing, Krista Pioppi, play Thea not long ago. She was fantastic! The girl recently graduated high school, and was born to be on broadway! SO MUCH TALENT!

Newcomer Ben Fankhauser is going to play Ernst. He is wonderful.

Lucas is FANTASTIC as Moritz. Seriously, I've said this before here, but he's kind of like Blake but less funny, and like Gerard but less pathetic. I'd love if he replaced Blake. But I was on the Guilty Ones (a rare occasion) and someone said they'd already cast a new Moritz...Taylor something was his name.

Since the first leg of the tour is over in Chicago on August 16, that's when most of the changes will take place. The newbies have already been rehearsing and a few have taken the stage already.

The cast gets a month and a half off before the tour resumes in early October.....if I remember correctly.
