I read in a signature that...
"Every time you make a Spring Awakening post two kittens die"
That's mine. *giggle*
I'm glad the sentiment is memorable.
Also, I wouldn't say the Tony win was as big a screw-up as, oh, let's see... opening on Broadway? =3
Okay, Miss von Tussle, I'll admit that was vaguely funny. But I'd appreciate it if you didn't bash Spring Awakening on my thread.
P.S. "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!!" Molly Weasley, right? I love that line.

logically it would be a bigger screw-up to win the tony...
but I don't really care, I just feel like being a nerdy snob.
Okay, why don't all you guys who hate SP start your own thread and stop posting on here because its deeply annoying when I read the title of this thread expecting to find cute little bloopers and all im seeing is people being really negative (as usual on this supid site) towards the show. Im so sick of all you conformers. You guys think you should hate anything thats popular. Get over yourselves really. Start your own "We basically hate broadway" thread and take all your negative energy there because the rest of us are sick of it.

Glinda, please don't ruin anything for anyone else with Harry Potter **** on here too. I've already seen the handiwork on the Spring Awakening thread, but at least that info was over a hundred years old!
Here's a reall screw-up:
Well, it's telecharge's fault...
I confirmed my order, then this damn box pops up:
"We're sorry, the website has generated an unknown system error.
Please call customer service at (88 268-2020 or (212)239-2969 so we can help you complete your purchase."
Now, do I try again or will that just charge me another $150? I don't want to be charged twice and I'm not calling now...

Wait until tomorrow, don't chance that the order may have went through and then order again.
This is not good... It's 3AM, I'm leaving at noon tomorrow to go on a vacation, my mom (it's her credit card I'm ordering with) is in another state... OY.

Just relax and remember that when you speak to them, they will (hopefully) be very accommodating and not worth stressing over now. I'm sure their line will be open early enough for you to call before vacation and say whether the order went through or not when they ask for the card info. Then from there, you may proceed in either making the order again or knowing that it was confirmed in the first place. Chances are it went through if you settled the order and it crapped out soon after.
Sounds like a plan. Thank you.

No problem, good luck with all that and enjoy the vacation, but post back to tell us how it went.
I'm going to the city in August and I will definitely post reviews on all the shows. This week I'm just going to Newport/Long Island.

Well, during one show,I was seated on-stage and Gallagher was so into his character that he slipped, and fell 3 times. He made Groff laugh and stumble over his lines. We joked about it at the stage door. He said it happens sometimes when he loses himself in the character. He fell alot during rehearsals until he got control over his emotions. He also told me, on opening night, during the start of "TBOL" number when he first pulls out his Mic, he hit himself and chipped a front tooth-he was really nervous and finished the scene in pain.

Every Spring Awakening thread gets bashed, get used to it.
People, can we please stay on topic? And if anybody wants to start their own Spring Awakening bashing thread can go right on ahead and I won't say a word. But please don't post your immature and nasty comments on my thread. K thanx.
People, can we please stay on topic?
This is BWW...I'm gonna guess 'no.'
Ok, topic: I read a newspaper something-or-other once that mentioned how during the (**OMG spoiler**) beating scene, the switch broke and flew into the audience.

The Switch Breaking happened 2 wks ago{ Unless it happened another time also] Phoebe was replacing Lea Michele-and I was on stage, and I could see how Groff was holding it that it might break, and it did. But it fell to the floor, he just picked up the 2nd piece and whipped her a few more times. They really didn't miss a beat, and it made the scene a little more real. Also, When I saw Matt replace Groff, he was SO nervous { Matinee} during the Seduction scene, that he started to finger Lea before he unbuttoned her blouse, she gently moved his hand up to her chest. She was really nervous also, and I thought this is how the scene SHOULD be played..It was wonderful...Actors can get TOO comfortable with each other...case in point, GROFF & MICHELE...sometimes that scene seems a little too rehearsed & blocked. I loved what Matt brought to the role.

Oh no the switch break I read about happened pre-Tonys, it was in one of those 'road to the Tonys' fluff pieces in the newspaper...I will find it...one sec...ok, here:
JONATHAN GROFF stars in the hit Off-Broadway transfer "Spring Awakening," for which he is nominated as lead actor.
Near-disaster: As Melchior in "Spring Awakening."
"There's a scene where I'm supposed to beat [actress] Lea Michele with a switch. I don't know if I was getting stronger or the sticks were getting weaker, but for five performances in a row, they kept breaking. The day Sarah Jessica Parker was in the audience, it broke and flew into the seventh row, and it hit some lady in the head."
The first time I read it as the switch hit Sarah Jessica in the head, and I laughed a little. just a little.

Wow, didn't know it happened that many times before...LOL! , I read that line the same way..hitting Sarah Jessica parker in the head! What a hoot!, now that would be some bloop!!
"Do you have to post a bunch of threads on things just particularly about Spring Awakening?"
"Oh, and she's started three threads. Two about SPRING AWAKENING and one odd one about Helena Bonham Carter."
Hmm...since when does starting 2 threads about Spring Awakening count as a lot?
Starting three threads doesn't mean she has a "thread-starting disease" either.
i think the directing was the biggest screw up, followed closely by the book writing.
