Hey, I was looking to see spring awakening Oct 25 or 27. But before I pay for the student ticket membership, can anyone who has it let me know if any of those performances has 3 tickets near each other still available? Thank you for your help.

What student membership are you talking about?

If you are talking about Tix4Students, there is a two-ticket per customer limit on student tickets to Spring Awakening.

My friends and I are all students so two of us would pay for membership... If tickets are available.

Yes, it is available. You can check whats listed on Tix4students without joining. They also do a lotto thats not extremely crowded for front row seats 1 hour and 30 minutes before every show if you have time to chance it. Then they sell 69.50 lotto loser seats.

Only 2 seats left for the 27th. A bunch for the 25th evening including many threes together.

Pretty sure it's $59.50, unless they've bumped it up since I saw it 3 weeks ago.

The price has been bumped up, I was there today and that was the loser lotto price. I think it changed after opening.

That sucks. Nobody goes to the lotto with any intention of buying $70 tickets. Just go to TKTS if you want to pay $70.

Is it that easy to find a $70 TKTS ticket these days?

Granted, I haven't been to TKTS in quite a while, but if you figure that Orchestra seats are $140, and TKTS gets you 50% off. Yeah, $70.

It was really disappointing to find out, especially since I was prepared to pay the $60. But asking people to pay double what a lotto ticket is really defeats the point of "lottery loser" tickets. Might as well just tell people to go into box office and pay full price. Also for people who are curious, it was $75 today at TKTS. This is unrelated, but I'm surprised at how few tickets they've been putting into lottery. They always seem to have around 21-24, which seems pretty small given that they aren't selling out the way Hamilton is. They should start by just putting more of the unsold tickets into lottery.

Thank you for the help everyone.
This is my must see show, having seen the original and being my favorite of all time.
Lottery is difficult since there are 3 of us so at least two of us has to win. It seemed simpler to buy the student tickets.
Would anyone suggest paying the lottery loser price or going to TKTS be worth the extra cost for better tickets? Otherwise we will sign up for memberships and buy for the 25th.
Thanks again.

Most lotteries don't even half-price loser tickets, so not sure what the issue is. Once you lose the lottery, anything else they do is a bonus. If you don't like it, just come back the next day and enter the lottery again...

No, ANYTHING they do beyond full price is a bonus. They don't have to do that, either.

Exactly. Given this is a limited run, they know those frequenting the lottery will eventually be willing to shell out more to see the show should they lose over and over. There isn't a "next time" for those who can only make it to the city a few times a year, and I can't blame them for taking advantage of that. They were very generous to start with for offering both lottery and student tickets.
