It says so on the shows official myspace. It will be February 22 but they say the date is not fully confirmed but, they will be performing on The View in late February!

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

Yay! Though I wish I could watch it live, but I have school that day. I wish they would do it a week before because I have break. But I'm still so excited!
ETA: Just kidding. I believe the date says Feb. 19, still not confirmed. I really hope it gets confirmed!!

Song of Purple Summer perhaps?
I think My Junk would be amazing... but um,I doubt it'd be.. appropriate enough for daytime t.v. 
and Totally F*cked would be the most fun.. but uh, unfortunately,no. haha.

i hope they dont do song of purple summer because thats one of the least memorable songs from the show- and it sounds like ur standard boring bway number.
i dont know why they dont do a bitch of living/my junk is you medley, or Touch Me. both really sell the show well.
i also wouldnt mind Lilli Cooper getting to do her big number but i doubt that will happen.
maybe rosie will make a special request tho...

Spring Awakening is getting even more exposure. I read this on their myspace.
February, 5 2007 Male cast members launch Jill Stuart's new line at Fashion Week!
The three Jonathan's have been hired to walk the runway (!!) at Jill Stuart's Fashion Show during Fashion Week. Songs from Spring Awakening will play during the show. In addition, the cast members have been invited to attend Lynn Devin's launch of her new line at Fashion Week on Feb 8th at 9 am. This will result in a lot of exposure for us. She may even design the women's Tony gowns!

Do you think Rosie helped by saying the show was not for kids or even adolescents?
Isn't that a large part of the target audience?
The girls' TONY gowns?
I mean the show will get some noms for sure, but that seems a little pre-mature of a statement.

I see what you mean, but at the same time, all they need is like.. ONE nomination in SOMETHING to be invited to attend, right? It's not like they would need a cast member to be nominated just for them to be able to go to the show, therefore needing dresses

Well if the show is nominated for Best Musical (and that looks good so far) they will all attend and perform (in costumes, if the show is still running)) but unless a female performer is nominated we will not see any of them in their dresses.
I liked Lea's performance a lot but at this point her chances of a Best Actress Nom is slim.(only due to the competition) But if they put her in Featured (where she doesn't really belong) she has a better chance of a nom.
She is a beautiful woman so I hope she would go for a bigger name designer.

I love the show's Myspace page. It always keeps me so updated. Who actually runs it? I've talked to them several times but I just never had the nerve to ask who they were.
