Spring Awakening wins big at LA Ovation Awards

They won:

 

Best Director of a Musical (Michael Arden)

Best Choreography (Spencer Liff)

Best Musical in a small theater

Best Musical in a large theater (first time the same production won both awards)

Best Ensemble Cast

Best Lighting (Ben Stanton)

 

Also the Wallis Annenberg Center won the big award of the night for Best Season, likely in no small part thanks to SA.
