Hey, gang!
Anyone have any info or insight as to what's due in 54 after HOLIDAY INN closes? Maybe KISS ME, KATE? Assuming the benefit proves worthwhile?

Last I heard, the contract for the ensemble has the option of an extension through mid-June (Tony weekend or the week after). That being said, I have also hear rumors that they may be looking for some backup shows that could swing in quickly just in case.
I'm sure it will be amazing since my Spring trip is already jam packed. A revival of Kiss Me Kate would be fabulous. It's a perfect show to brighten up our rather dark times.
I need a big, splashy, killer musical going in there. Something triumphantly good.
The current Roundabout season is already fully programmed, which is a shame because we don't have that many musical revivals this season. Perhaps there's a chance we could see Kiss Me, Kate in the 2017-2018 season if the benefit is well received.

They could always rent it out to someone else. What other shows are trying to come in? Whorehouse? Forum?
We need a Kiss Me Kate revival just so I can audition for Lois/Bianca. It fits my "typing" to a T! Girl can dream.
But I'd also kill to see Forum in the space, just so Jim Parsons can play Pseudolus (I know it was supposed to be James Corden). Reinstate the "Farewell" number to expand Domina's role and then cast a Broadway diva in the part...

As has been said, the Roundabout season is complete. If Studio 54 has a spring tenant, it will be a rental.
