I'm seeing Something Rotten tonight, Center Mezzanine Row H. Just wondering if these are good seats to see the show. Thanks!

Yes, I think so. The front half of the mezzanine seems particularly close to the stage at the St. James to me.

Kind of late to ask after you bought them, no?

I’m looking for orchestra seats for frozen and am thinking about buying center orchestra, row c seats. Would i be able to see any of the effects on stage? Or am i better off sitting row a center mezz

I haven’t seen the show, but from what others have posted here, it appears the mezzanine is the best place to see all of the effects.

If I am paying full price, I tend to pick a seat right next to or right behind or right in front the premium-priced seats.

As for St. James, I'd avoid the balcony. I saw Something Rotten from up there and I just felt it was way too far and couldn't see any facial expressions.

Don’t sit in orchestra with mezz overhang. You can’t see the stage - height wise.

I sat in the front row of the balcony and it actually was a pretty good view. I can’t soeak for the rest of the balcony, but the first row was perfect especially with the price I got. Yes it was high, the balcony is strangely very high in this theater like there is a wide gap between the mezzanine and the balcony, but it was still a view to see the entire theater and stage. I would go with the mezz seats if your between orchestra and mezz. There are a good amount of effects on the floor that you would probably miss in the orchestra, so it’s worth going in the mezz.

Thanks for these responses! After doing more research I’m leaning towards the mezzanine seats, but since i like to be close to the actors and stuff, I’m thinking about buying Center Pech seats row G. Does anyone know if these seats are good and if I’ll have a view of the effects on stage?

Those will be great seats! I just saw the show from row F side orchestra and definitely felt intimate as I could see the actors up close yet still see most of the effects on stage (if you're more nto the effects then I suggest row H or I.)

I'd avoid the front row since there was a good amount of fog/smoke effects and I saw a few people sitting in the front row wave their hands back and forth to move the fog away from their faces especially during "Let it Go"
