Accordin to Kevin Kern, he will be reprising his role of Marius in "Les Miserables" at the MUNY this summer.
He will also be Danny in "Grease" - which I would kill to see.
Makes me wonder if his lovely wife will be doing "pajama game"

That is one of the oldest casts of OKLAHOMA! I've ever heard of. Most of those leads could have done these roles almost 15 years ago...

I live in St. Louis and love what the Muny does, but the quality of their shows has gone down over the past decade, and I am sorry but seeing, Joseph, Annie, Peter Pan, and Wizard of Oz in rotation EVERY year is getting old, and that is just to accomodate their Muny Kids, and their Muny Teens. These kids rehearse all this time just to spend 15 seconds on stage. THis is a large theatre, but it does open the opportunity for people who can't get to some of the tours that come throught town, this way they can sit in the free seats and with binnoculars they can see what they think might be quality theatre.

All of the casting for the MUNY sounds fantastic! I am so ready for another MUNY summer. I live in St. Louis, and it is one of my favorite things to do in the summer: going to the MUNY. I can't wait to hear who else has been cast in the rest of the shows, like Hello Dolly, Pajama Game, and Les Mes.

I can't believe that Eric Kunze is still doing Joseph. I saw him in the same role 10 yrs ago and he wasn't in his 20's either...

so kern will be playing marius, rutherford- jean val jean, hunt- javert, but is howard playing madame thenardier or fantine... i know she played madame thenardier on one of the tours but in an interview i watched with her a while back she said she's always wanted to play fantine.....

I saw that interview too, and I also saw her as Mme. T a few times back in 2000. She was GREAT, but she'd also be a wonderful Fantine.

but if the rumor holds true that Simone is playing Fantine then Lisa Howard is most likely playing Mme. thenardier, opposite Ken Page's Master Thenardier
