I heard she's going to Chicago to do Glinda in January.
Any other updates on that?

Wow, I'd love to see her as Glinda again--I'd go to Chicago to see it.

You all are right--she was nice. I'm serious about the weather--that it put me in a bad mood.

I just found a letter I wrote to her when she was announced as the new Glinda standby (this summer) but never got it sent it.

She went on for the matinee of 11/26, and did a great job. It was my 2nd time seeing her in the role.

Rue McClanahan was out, thank God. I can't remember who went on for her, though. I'm pretty sure it was just those 2 out.

Did she go on as Nessa or Glinda? I thought she was supposed to go on as Nessa.

Otherwise, it was Megan Sikora that went on as Nessa.

She went on as Glinda the previous weekend as well. I saw her that Saturday night and she was hilarious.

I'd heard Michelle was going to be out so I thought Stacie was going on as Nessa, but I guess Megan was still sick.

When I went last weekend it was Stacie as Glinda, Megan Sikora as Nessa, and Jan Neuberg(sp?) as Morrible (she was great!).

I have now see Stacie go on as Glinda twice and I think she's FANTASTIC! If you get the chance to see her you really should! She definitely makes the role her own and doesn't play it like any of the others. She's the 6th Glinda I've seen and I couldn't imagine that it could someone could put a new spin on it after seeing 5 other people play it very differently but she does! What an awesome person too:)

What is your dream role? My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

I don't know whether she was a standby or an understudy at the time, but I saw her last spring and I adored her. :)
