Stage Door Questions

Hey everyone, so I'm wondering if Lauren Graham or Mary Louise Parker have been at the stage door lately? Do either of them sign/take pictures?

Lauren Graham seems to always come out, but she doesn't always sign or take pictures. If she has somewhere to go or something to do, she'll politely explain to the crowd why she can't sign/take pictures. When I was there, she said that she had friends backstage and had to go back inside. She signed autographs, but said she couldn't do individual pictures.

I was at Hedda Gabler on March 13th and Mary Louise Parker came out. Alec Baldwin happened to be seeing the show that night, so he came out the stage door with her. There were only a handful of people there to get autographs and she was fine with signing...that is until someone asked her to sign a photo of her partially nude and then she got rather upset and left very quickly. Luckily, I was in line before the guy with the photo. She doesn't take pictures though as far as I know.

Lauren Graham signs almost everytime but she rarely takes individual pictures anymore cos it´s always too crowded, she would have to spend a hour at the stagedoor to make everyone happy, so she opted to sign for everyone instead of taking pics only with few people. you can see her explain it to people here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYvfKdi_DGo&feature=channel_page

No, Lauren Graham wouldn't have to spend an hour to make everyone happy. Oliver Platt signed and took pictures with everyone when I went, and he was done within 10 minutes. Lauren Graham refused a picture with me because wanted to make sure everyone gets an autograph, and since she had a "plane to catch, if you can believe that" (verbatim). What about those that don't care for autographs, like me? I don't know, whatever.

well, there´s one tiny difference. how many people want pic with Oliver and who with Lauren??? Most people are stagedooring for Lauren at GaD, like it or not.

I preferred a picture with Oliver Platt, but that's just me. I've never seen an episode of Gilmore Girls, so that's probably why.

haha, I was going to refer to those youtube vids, Hahabimbi.
I love how she says "paparazzi pictures," she said that when I was there. And you're right, if she took individual pictures with everyone, it would take awhile. But she makes sure everyone gets an autograph at least. I was behind someone so she couldn't see me and went passed us, but then she saw me and came back to sign for me.

Lets go from Hedda Gabler and G&D to 33 Variations.

Besides Jane Fonda, how is the rest of the cast at that stage door? It's not that I don't care about Ms. Fonda, but I really want to meet Samantha Mathis specifically.

The time I went to 33 Variations, Jane Fonda DID NOT come out of the stage door. This may be due to a SINGLE protester across the street. Colin Hanks was very gracious and took a photo. Samantha Mathis was also nice. Colin Hanks and Samantha both walked away together, and all I could say is, "TOM HANKS' SEED HAS TO WALK??!!?"

when i saw Guys and Dolls on Saturday ngiht, the stage door was absolutely mobbed. Someone near me asked Lauren Graham for a picture and she apologized and very sweetly explained that she wanted to make sure she could get to everyone. The girl looked like she was getting ready to get angry after she heard "no," but Graham was so sweet about the whole thing that she had to let it go.

Or the fact that she gets lots of friends and celebrities visiting backstage every show. She even posts the pictures and told one night the doorman had to come back and throw them out, they were locking up.
