CONNOLLY LOOKS PISSED, I LOVE IT.
It was a smart choice to get the ED of AEA to speak.

You can't hear the questions. He should repeat them.
Can someone sum it up...or maybe there will be a recap on here soon. Albany doesn't get NY1
essentially Connolly got up there and said AEA will stand by Local 1 and that the league is a bunch of liars and cheats. and the local one presidnet came back on and said the producers had no honor. It was a spirited affair that i loved.

The most disappointing aspect was that the Local One head made it clear that there are no plans at the moment for either side to sit down and resume talks any time soon -- which means there's no end in sight for the strike.

So it was a bunch of name calling? Did they say anything substantive?
What is to be gained from not sitting down and trying to make a deal? I guess it makes the producers more desperate, but come on, something needs to be done.
this is ridiculous. the producers are ready to negotiate. they need to friggin listen and figure something out, tons of people are getting hurt in this. ugh it baffles me, it really does.
NY1 hasn't put the union press conference online. They had the one with the producers online.

the producers are not ready to negotiate. they think pushing demands across the table is a negotiation. give and take is a negotiation. they have offered no gives, only takes.
