"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Very cool - some great song selection there. I wish more compilation type CDs would do more song selection along these lines. iTunes is featuring compilations now on their "soundtrack" page - full of stuff I have already! D'oh!

How does the DVD end? Is it cut to the closing remarks after Jennifer Holiday's performance?

Buying it right now! Its worth it just to see Robbie's rendition of "I Wanna Be a Rockette" again.

Whatever happened to class?

Who is Robbie and did I see him at Therapy at Scott Nevins presents on Sunday? Where is "I Wanna Be A Rockette" from?

and WHO is Victor Wallace?! Is he single, and is "Marry Me A Little" from Marry Me a Little?

Capn'-

The video goes from Jenn Gambatese singing (beautifully) to the closing remarks.

MTRBOI24-
Robbie is RobbieJ, a poster here at BroadwayWorld who honestly was one of my personal highlights of the concert. His song is from "Kicks The Musical"
