Star's final performance

How do you find out when the star of a show will be doing their final performance? Not when the show closes, but when the main star leaves.

You stalk them.
He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.

Well, usually Playbill makes an annoucement, or if you have a specific star then ask the boards here, they'll usually tell you.

re: Star's final performance

since the show just opened, her final performance won't be for at least a year. and I'm guessing that the show'll close when she leaves. unless they just take a blue piece of paper, cover her name on the marquee and write "It's just Gypsy now".

givesmevoice- perhaps they could simply write, "Oh, damn, you JUST missed 'Patti Lupone in the role she was born to play'"
"I think of avant-garde as downtown shows where you rub waffles and chocolate on yourself."- Hunter Bell

since I'm imagining all of this just written on blue construction paper in silver Sharpie, I'd say basically anything would make me laugh, trekkie.
