Looks like a nice lineup. I'm assuming, given the performers and the roles they play, there are more people? I don't think there's a song Frenchie can do from Rent by herself lol
I hope I can get off work to go!!
I'm going for the first time and was looking for some tips...how early to get there? where to stand? what time does it end?
Norbert, Sara, and Cheyenne! I'm sooooo there!!!
Blucat-This is my first time, too. Just be there as early as possible is all I can say.
Grrrr Carolee! If she sings "Winner Takes it All" you guys won't believe how great it is! Grrrrrr I hate being in Seattle!
Well I've got a 90 minute train ride to get there so I probaly won't be there until ten...Is it really necessary to get there much earlier? I'm also seeing piazza and chitty chitty so its gonna be a looong day.

Two years ago Frenchie did Seasons of Love by herself at Stars in the Alley. It was great, actually and she encouraged the crowd to sing along with her.
I'll be at SITA again this year... I haven't missed this in years -- rain or shine. I'll probably be somewhere in the vicinity of the Shubert Stage Door, so if anyone sees me, feel free to stop me and say hi
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
Carolee is the ONLY reason to see MM. She's fantastic, maybe a bit too Broadway for a pop show but still fantastic. She blew me away at last year's Bway Under the Stars when she sang "Don't rain on my parade".
But back to the topic! SitA will be great fun! I'll be screaming "I love you, Sara!" and changing my batteries every ten minutes.
*spins around* I'll be there!

I think this is gonna be great. Yay!
Aghh I wish I didn't live so far away! It sounds like such an amazing line-up. Curse living across the country! I know I've said it a thousand times but seriously, it'll be the death of me, missing all these events etc.
Dreamcatcher-I'll take lots of pics and send them to you or anyone who wants to see them. Aaaaahhh!!! It's next week, I'm so excited!

I want to go!!!! *sniffles*
I wonder if it's weird for Sutton to perform after her show already closed.
~Rosalynn
Its never weird when Sutton performs, she could be attending a performance of wicked and start singing along and it wouldn't bother me at all, it might even make it better
This sounds great ! To all the lucky people who will go, have fun and keep in mind that all of us poor creatures who can't attend, are counting on you for detailed reviews !
Seems like a really good line up for a really good event. Sorry I won't be there.

I don't remember what time I have to be at work, but if it's 1:00, I'll be there

Hi Everyone,
I'm new here, this board is great! I will be going to Stars for the first time next week. I will be coming in to GC Terminal. What is the best way for me to get to Stars, and get a good view? Is there one big stage set up? Will certain streets be blocked off? Any tips from those of you who have been there will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
PJ
Well, Grand Central Terminal is only a few blocks away so all ya gotta do is get to Shubert Alley between 44th and 45th and Broadway and enjoy the show! Hopefully you get there early enough to get a good spot. Have fun!
Anyone have any advice as to how early I should get there? I'm excited!
i'm getting there super early to get in line for the Spamalot standing room seats, so hopefully i'll have a decent view!
Kate- Save me a spot by you!
Bump!
Anyone know what songs are being performed? And I'm still looking for info on when people are getting there!
