Steel Magnolias -- does Delta Burke come out?

My boyfriend saw the show last week and said that she was the only one who didn't sign. After a half hour, the stage door manager announced that she left through an alternate exit. A friend of mine is involved with the show and said that Burke has health problems. Maybe that factors in.

"Christine Ebersole was the only one who didn't come out when I was there."

I'm surprised. My bf said she was the nicest of the bunch.

I went to see Steel Magnolias back at the first of July and Delta was so very nice. She was the last to come out and her arms were full of packages. She said, "Hold on, everybody. Just let me set this stuff in the car and I'll be right back." She put her packages in the car and then signed and took photographs with everyone that wanted one. She spent a surprisingly long time with me and my friend. We were chatting about Designing Women and Sordid Lives. She was so very sweet, amazingly gracious and very down to earth. The only cast members I didn't get to meet were Christine Ebersole and Marsha Mason. Christine was getting in her car just as I made it to the stage door. Marsha only went down one side of the barricades and then got in her car.

she didn't come out today after the show.. my firned was bumbed cuz thats the only reason we went to the stage door to get her autograph for adiffernt frined.. but the rest of the cast came out and where all very nice.
