No, not trying to start rumors of a revival... just thought some of you may get a kick out of the little shout out she did for one of her friend's websites.
EDIT: I think most people that cared to hear it got a chance at this point so taking off the link. I have my reasons that I think the parents of the younger posters may appreciate.
EDIT AGAIN: Figured out how to post just the audio - ENJOY!

Is Stephanie's last city Cincinnati? If so, I have to make the drive down.
Always thought Elphaba's hat was black with gray mottling... could be 1. the flash on the camera made it look that way (on camera flashes are great at casting blue tones) or 2. the tour hat IS black with blue mottling. Or 3... it's allll an illusion and Steph's reallllly good at casting spells, when off the stage.
I do love her voice... it fits perfectly into how Elphaba sounds in the book (in my mind when I am reading, mind you...).

When you first showed me that I literally almost fell out of my chair. She really is HILARIOUS!!!! Couldn't love her more than I already do!
Yankee - the "reading" thing is because she was doing a shout out for a website where you READ and not some radio station that you LISTEN to...
Awwwwwwwwww! Ain't she the CUTEST!!!!! I TOTALLY adore her.
hahaha Steph that's great. She's so funny.
Bwaytheatre - her last stop is sometime in March. No official word yet on which city... it's either Pittsburgh or Cinncinati.
I figure this would be as good a place as any to add my "I Love Stephanie J. Block" story...
I saw the Wicked tour in Hartford this past Thursday. Steph was brilliant...I absolutely adored her. I had my issues with some of the other aspects of the production...but Stephanie was utterly fabulous.
So afterwards, I dragged my sister to the stage door because I just had to tell Stephanie how much I enjoyed her performance. There were only 4 people there, including us, probably because it had started to snow/sleet/hail/ice and it was freezing. Derrick Williams and Logan Lipton came out, but I was fiddling with my phone for a second and missed them as they ran out (it was nasty out, I don't blame them). Jenna Leigh Green came out next, and was incredibly sweet, signed for us, and chatted for a minute. So after waiting for her for about 20 minutes, the guy who I guess handles the stage door (very nice by the way) asks us who we're waiting for. I told him, and he nodded and went back inside. About 5 minutes later, another guy (who I'm now assuming has some sort of connection to Stephanie) pokes his head out and says, "Are you the four?". I sort of looked around and said, "I guess so?". So he says, "Oh my gosh, come inside, it's freezing!". I was like Okaaaaayyyy....I figured that we would just stand inside the door. Oh no. We were brought right to Stephanie's dressing room. She was there with some friends, and we waited for a minute or two. During that time, I took the liberty of sort of looking around a bit and saw the sign in board, rehearsal schedule, a backstage view of the stage itself, which was incredible enough to see. Her hat from Act 1 was right there! I was in utter amazement. But then, Stephanie came out, all smiles. She said, "Oh my God, thanks so much for waiting!" and signed all our stuff. I had forgotten my camera in the car, so the guy who had let us in took pictures on his camera of her with us and of her signing our playbills, and took my email address so that he could email them to me. So nice of him She was SO nice and so kind to let us back into her personal space. I'm such a fan now.
Sorry that was long, but I thought it was cute and added to the Steph-love.

oooh, thanks Popular!
HAHA, thats great!
I have never had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie, and I missed the link Popular posted. But, I think she could give lessons to all other Broadway stars on how to treat fans and remain a real person during the whole stage door experience.
She sounds like a literal dream, and someone you just want to continue admiring like the engerizer bunny!
Great story Kimmy!

Darn I missed it.

I love her "Don't Rain On My Parade" on Broadway Unplugged CD
i saw her this weekend in wicked in hartford - she was truly amazing. i hate to upset the idina fans, but i prefer her voice to idina's. she was so perfect onstage!!! but the glinda that i saw doesn't compare to cheno. (she was still cute though) overall - i loved this tour!! ! chorus was awesome.
What a great story. :)
