I guess it's to mirror the production itself. 
Ann Reinking's choreography mirrored the poster as well.
Poor gal.

It looks like the type of phony-looking windowcard that you would see a TV show. Like when Jessica Fletcher investigates a murder on "Murder She Wrote."

Posted: 5/10/07 at 6:48pmActualy I've seen the poster that was printed in anticipation for the national tour (that got scrapped) and it was a little bit more lively. It had Powers all airbrushed and looking like something out of DYNASTY.
