Stephen King Popping Up at Regional Productions of CARRIE

Is this true? I hear he pops up every now and then to make sure no one does the show extremely campy. I am in Louisville's regional premiere and I would freak if he showed up. We are thinking about sending him a letter with a ticket. I know it's a long shot but you never know right. Has anyone heard stories of this happening?

I would do it. At the very worst, he doesn't show up. He went to both productions in Seattle and San Francisco.

It's a good thing he doesn't own the rights to the musical or something or he may actually be able to do something about it. Lets be real here, so many of King's adapted books are so full of camp to single out musical productions of Carrie, which again he can't do anything about anyway, seems a bit off don't you think?

I heard he's definitely coming to Louisville. I'm only one degree of separation from his daughter.
