I thought he was the musical director for Wicked. In the photo coverage of Hair, it says he is the musical director for Avenue Q. Is this a typo, or am I just dumb?

He was musical director of Wicked, and he arranged the music.

He also supervised the Ave Q music and was musical director there.

I swear this guy is everywhere! He's also doing All Shook Up and even wrote the vocal arrangements for the show. And he looks about twenty years old!

Word. Word, indeed.

the adorably baby faced Stephen Oremus is one of my top three musical directors -- Stephen Oremus, Jesse Vargas, and Jim Vukovich (in alpha order)

see? one more reason to see All Shook Up.... Cheyenne Jackson, Stephen Oremus, and Michelle Kittrell!

Avenue Q's musical director is Gary Adler. He's the nicest guy ever. He was my musical director at AMDA one semester.

Watching him conduct is the primary reason I have seen Wicked multiple times.

I kept looking at the pit last week at Wicked thinking this guy can't be old enough to be conducting on Broadway. Seemed quite yummy. Now I know he's got other fans too!
