There is an issue with doing some of them close to new york. I believe a theater within 200(?) miles of nyc cannot do beauty and the beast. Not sure of the others.

I'm glad several Dessa Rose cast members got their well deserved recognition. Unfortunately, it's sad that this is all they will get in terms of awards or formal acknowledgement.

Saw both spamalot and DRS. Thought both were good, but neither led up to the expectations that I had set. Between the two, I honestly thought that Spamalot was superior. DRS just wasn't as fantastic as I had anticipated, and Spamalot was simply enjoyable.

At least the critics are recognizing the cast for their increadible work.
I thought the whole production was great as a whole, although I do understand some of the negative points the critics make.

Don't think anyone posted this yet, but in case not Dori Berinstein's new film called "Show Business" is being shown at the Tribeca film festival. It tracks the progress of Wicked, Taboo, Caroline, and Q from the conecption of the shows, to the tonys.
Should be interesting.

At the palace I sat next to a woman who was at least 60 in the student tickets row. She said she took cooking classes through her town and had a certificate to prove it. The theater apparently had no problem giving her student tickets.

Actually the clip of her I listened to has been on my computer since the summer of 2004. I think there are two different clips being compared here.
