StubHub LMS Center - timing question?

I'm watching DEH tickets for each performance and see some ticket prices start to drop within 30 minutes of curtain. We'll be trying to do a Wednesday matinee show and staying at the Marquis. Some tickets are immediate download and we'd be able to easily print and get to the theater in 10-ish minutes. I noticed most of these last minute "bargains" need to be picked up from the LMS Center.

What would be the best (but safest) timing to wait to get tickets that I'd have to pickup and make it inside the theater before they stopped first act seating. I can be at the LMS Center (conceivably in line) and ready to pounce on some tickets. And I guess there's a chance that some immediate download tickets may drop, then I'd have to race to the Marquis - but I think I saw someone say they could also print the immediate download tickets. Any suggestions appreciated.

I also realize that BP has not been performing this weekend which could definitely affect the SH ticket prices. I'll continue watching the prices this week when he returns.

A friend of mine bought a StubHub DEH ticket at 1:50p for a 2:00p show, and made it just in time. You'll have until around 2:05p to make it there. She told me that she really had to rush, though, so, if I were you, I would wait until 1:40p at the latest. That should make the mad dash a little less crazy.

And leave the girls at the theater. It is so much easier to race thru the city alone!

Yup, you can print at the lms. I walked at a normal pace from the music box to the lms yesterday and got there in around 15-20 minutes, so if you rush I assume you can get around 10 minutes? Just wait there before the show. And yes, BP being out definitely affected the ticket prices greatly, when BP was here the price nearly never dropped below 100 even before curtain but I have seen many $49 tickets this week. Good luck and enjoy the show!

Thanks for the info. And good suggestion on having my girls at the theater and leaving the dash for Dad. I'm thinking if I'm at the LMS at 1:30 and place an order in line, I should be fine.

Thanks for the reality check on what to expect on SH pricing when BP is in the show. SH is my last option for the show, after watching for late releases on Telecharge, lottery and cancellation line.

Figure I would share since I did this yesterday for the matinee. At 1:41pm I bought my ticket for DEH at the Stub Hub location. It took 3-4 minutes for it to be brought upstairs once I purchased. Then I left the store at 1:45pm and rushed the whole way. I ran in the bike lanes when necessary. I got to the theatre in 7 minutes (used two songs in Hamilton to judge) and got to my seat at 1:55pm. The people next to me clearly had just done the same thing and a gentlemen came in a couple minutes after me who did as well. The show didn't start until 2:03pm

I would echo leaving everyone besides you or whoever is faster at the theater. Also make sure everyone has gone to the bathroom beforehand because there might not be a lot of time before curtain. Good luck!

I just checked my email from Stubhub when I did this a few months ago for DEH. Purchased at 7:56 for an 8PM show ( I was in the pickup location already. I ran to the theater and made it with time to spare before curtain.

Pretty sure the OP mentioned he was going early August in a different post.

DM611 is correct - my time in the city is the first week of August (8/2 Wednesday target), so I'll be curious this tactic works for others. I'm not sure if I (or my daughters) will have the nerve to cut it too close like one of the last posters mentioned. I will need to balance the risk/reward of the ticket price and print/travel time and ensure I get in the door before curtain time.

I am planning to use StubHub as a final option for some DEH tickets. Looking at inventory and dropping prices this weekend was encouraging for my plan. But looking tonight (for Ben's return) no StubHub tickets are left with hours to go. Gulp. Hope it's not this situation when we are there in two weeks.
