If I was going to rush Shrek on a wednesday matinee this summer would I have to get there as soon as the box office opened at 10am or could I get there at 12:30 and still get seats?
Well I did lotto for Opening night I got a seat in the front row and and it was annoying b/c the stage was high The lotto seats suck For opening night they gave the boxes as well but I know for regular lotto its only 16 seats I'd honestly spend the extra $10 and get rush b/c with rush it's whatever full view is left. Try to get Front Mezz if u can b/c I hear those are great
tking001, ya do realize that this is a message board and not a text message right?

I've gotten Student Rush tickets for Shrek twice. Both times, I went around noon. The first time, my seats were mid-orchestra on the outside aisle. They were ok. You miss a little of the extreme side action but nothing too important. The second time, however, my seats were on the middle aisle around mid-orchestra. They were the most perfect seats that a person could possibly ask for. We were completely center stage and saw everything perfectly. As for the quality of the show, I love it. I've seen it twice and am going back next weekend. It's fun and colorful and funny as heck. Plus the cast is fantastic. Enjoy it!
I aint sure about Shrek but they might not even check student ID. When I saw blithe spirit I just asked for student rush tickets and I got them witout showing my ID. He also did it for a older woman behind me in line
I rushed last Friday night. Got to the box office around 6 and was given Rear Mezzanine Row E, which was a surprisingly good seat. He asked if I had an ID and before I had fully pulled it out of my wallet, he said "ok" and started looking for a seat.
When I was in high school I used my high school ID several times. I know I used it to see Seussical the Musical. That was 9 years ago...but, it doesn't hurt to try.
I thought Shrek did limit it to only college IDs, but they don't specify.
Per playbill: Student Rush: $36.50 - available at the box office on the day of performance. Subject to availability. Limit 1 ticket per valid ID. Cash only.
I could've sworn it used to be only colege IDs though. Maybe they changed it. Guess that's good news though. And yes, they should accept foreign IDs too.
No, they'd turn you down. My friends and I tried to get tickets with our high school ID's after we had just graduated and they were very obnoxious and wouldn't let them use our high school ID's.
