Student rush ID question
#1Student rush ID question
Posted: 7/5/10 at 12:28pmSo one of my friend was planning on rushing Promises Promises next week. She goes to a private school where they don't do student ID's, so she wanted to know if she could bring a passport. She only 16 so it's obvious she's still a student. I wasn't sure if that would be ok, but I didn't want to give her missinformation, so I was wondering if you guys would know more about the policy than I do and could tell me if she would be ok with that or not. Thanks!

Posted: 7/5/10 at 12:32pmI don't know about the situation with PROMISES, but the box office workers at the Broadway have not been very friendly when I've dealt with them in the past. Seeing as most rush policies require a student ID, I would say your friend may be out of luck. Tell her to bring a report card or some kind of document from the school with her name on it and also her passport. I've had friends who have had to do that and it's never failed yet.

Posted: 7/5/10 at 12:57pmI can relate to your friend. I did have a college ID that had the years 2008-2010 on it. However, I am taking time off from school to do some work instead. So, despite me not actually being enrolled in a school, I was still using that ID for student rushes. But, unfortunately I lost the ID and now I am out of luck as far as many student rush's go.

Posted: 7/5/10 at 8:54pmI went to Promises, Promises for student rush and realized I had left my school ID at home but luckily had a library card and a ticket to a school function in my wallet. I showed this to the guy at the box office and he kept mumbling, "you need your student ID.." but printed the tickets for me anyway. Just tell your friend to be nice and try to explain her situation. :)
