Sorry for the really stupid question...New At All of This. How much postage is necessary on the self-addressed envelope that we send, to cover the shipment and weight of a playbill? Thanks a lot!
Depends on where you live. It got more expensive recently for me in NJ and i have to put on 2, 44 cent stamps, and 2 17 cent stamps.

thank you for the help! i live in SE Pennsylvania. Do you think putting on 4 regular 44 cent stamps would definitely be enough?
Instead of playing the stamp guessing game, go to your local post office and use the scales there. It will give you a definite postage amount to use.
What I do is...
1) Take both envelopes, the Playbill, and some 44 cent stamps to the post office. Also bring about $2
2) Weigh the Playbill in the return envelope, and place adequate postage. Put the Playbill, SASE, and whatever else in the send envelope.
3) (and I do this since it almost guarantees return of the Playbill) Take it to the customer service desk sealed, addressed, and ready to go. Have them weigh and code it, and you'll end up paying (in cash) the exact amount you will need to send it to NYC without wasting stamps.

Sorry to the OP for jumping on this thread! I would like to send fan mails to Stark Sands and Billy Porter at Kinky Boots. I'd like to include the cast recording insert to get their autographs (and yes, I am willing to risk losing it). How would I get this done, should I address the mail to both of them? Or should I send it to one of them and have him pass the included fan mail to the other and the insert along to the other and then send it back to me with my SASE? I just feel bad for asking them to pass it along for me. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Send it to company management with a separate note indicating, in detail, your request for BOTH actors to sign.

I assume you mean the stage manager right? Thanks, I will try that. I have separate letters for them too, hopefully the management will be happy to deliver them for me!

No. I mean company management. Not stage management. But you can try that.
