It's so disconcerting that to hear my Adam sing that song, I have to deal with Mandy. Blargh.

But yes. Love it.

Yay! I was just listening to the Hunter Foster/Kerry Butler version. It's a great song.

There's always room for pathos - and jazz hands.

Good song, can either be perfection or poo poo ka ka.

I didn't hate Mandy in it, she wasn't that bad.

Adam on the other hand.....

As much as I love the guy, Seymore Krelborn he is not.

One of my favorite showtunes. GO ELLEN!

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

Loved it when I saw the tour... Anthony rocked re: Suddenly Seymour

And I have heard the Adam/Mandy one, and its pretty decent, but Mandy sort of dampens the overall talent. She gets an 'A' for effort though...

Here in this cold white room tied up to these machines, it's hard to imagine life as it used to be. Laughing, screaming, tumbling queen... Like the most amazing light show you've ever seen. Whirling, swirling, never blue... How could you go and die? What a selfish thing to do... RIP Jason

My favorite song!!! I heard the Mandy Moore/Adam Pascal version... not impressed. Mandy was lacking and Adam was too rocker-ish. I have also heard the Alice Ripley/Hunter Foster version... LOVE IT! Alice tears the roof off of the place with her belting! I also do love the Kerry Butler/Hunter Foster version because of Kerry's riffs; She gave it a new, upbeat, modern twist. And who doesn't love the versions with Ellen Greene and Lee Wilkof or Rick Moranis?? Those are absolute classics! Updated On: 11/29/04 at 02:56 PM
