Suggestions for a show...

Hello, I am new here and have been enjoying reading the board. I am not from New York but go there a couple times a year and always am sure to see a few shows!

I am going at the end of July and would love some suggestions of shows to see from you folks who are a lot more knowledgeable than me! Shows that I've really liked that I've seen recently are Book of Mormon, Matilda, Wicked, Peter and the Star Catcher, Spring Awakening, In the Heights, Avenue Q. I didn't like Newsies or Cinderella. I was meh on Next to Normal.

We are planning on seeing Pippin and would like to see at least one other show while there. Any suggestions based on the shows I've liked? Preferably that can be bought at tkts or have a rush.

Of the shows that are regularly on TKTS and have a rush/lottery that you would have more than a 10% chance of winning, I would say Kinky Boots. Still a great show and if you and a friend both enter the lottery on a weeknight, you'd almost be guaranteed of getting tickets.

Sounds like I'll be seeing Kinky Boots! haha

Another question, what is everyone's opinion of Heathers? I am a huge fan of the movie, wasn't sure how it'd translate to a musical.
