Any suggestions at all? Heading to NYC next weekend to see:

West Side Story
Next to Normal
Hair
Rock of Ages

I could watch Rock of Ages on sunday but looking for other suggestions. Basically have a Friday and Sunday night unbooked.

Thought about billy elliot but sure. Something about it i am not 100% sure of.

Mary Poppins (beginning September 7)
Mamma Mia (until September 14)
Next to Normal (but I see you are already going to that)
Shrek (beginning September 1)

Since you're already seeing next to normal, of the shows currently offering Sunday evening shows, my recommendation would be In the Heights.

The Lion King starts sunday performances at 1 and 6:30pm. Always check if you are coming during holidays.
The Lion King will have curtain time at 7pm on tuesdays and wednesdays starting in september. Mary Poppins the same but they have Monday and Wednesdays, they are dark Tuesdays.

Avenue Q is a great choice if it's before it closes.

OFF B'way shows run a good deal on Sunday nights:

Fuerza Bruta (awesome performance art -- exhilarating, really)
Altar Boys(Has fun with religion without MAKING fun of religion_
Toxic Avenger (offends everything and is funny as hell)
Our Town (great reviews)
Blue Man Group
The Fantasticks

>>>"Avenue Q is a great choice if it's before it closes."<<<

There would be little point seeing the show if it's AFTER it closes. Correct?

You'd be suprised...takes on a whole different meaning then!

(I did MEAN to say if the date s/he was going was before it's closing!)
