Not exactly about this CD, but does anyone know if Party Come Here is gonna be released/recorded? I don't know anything about it really but I went to a David Kirschenbaum cabaret at Joe's Pub a while back and loved just about every song. Any info?

iTunes has it for about half the price. also, amazon.com has it for the price you'll get anywhere. the cd doesn't really do the show justice though. it's great, don't get me wrong, but live and with the right cast, that show can be life changing.

I think Amazon has to special order it so it may take quite awhile. just go to footlight.com.

CD Universe has it for less than $30. Mine was shipped on Monday and arrived Friday. iTunes has it for less than $20, but you don't get the booklet that contains the entire libretto and all the lyrics, complete with stage directions. There are also two wonderfully written forwards by Hunter Foster and David Kirschenbaum as well as comments by director Gabriel Barre.

It's a great show, and the entire cast is really strong. I predict really good things for Ryan Driscoll in the future. He's totally disarming as Hermie.

And of course there's Rachel York. 'Nuff said.

It's a double CD...they are usually more expensive. Plus, Jay Records tends to me a bit pricer since most of their stuff is targeted to a niche market. I think I paid $40 for Dessa Rose...totally worth it though!
