Hey guys planning my NYC trip this July, arrive Sunday 5th late afternoon and leave Sunday 12th afternoon. Would like to see a show Monday night and Thursday afternoon! Can anyone help? Still wanted to squeeze in American in Paris and On The Town! Thanks!xx

 

I'm planning on seeing

Sunday - Finding Neverland (eve)

Tuesday - King and I (eve)

Wednesday -The Visit (mat)

                  -On The 20th Century (eve)

 

Thursday - Fun Home (eve)

              - Sleep No More (late night)

 

Friday - Something Rotten (eve)

Saturday - Gigi (mat)

              - Hedwig (eve)

For Monday night your choices are:

Broadway - Wicked, Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia, Phantom

Off Broadway - Ave Q, Clinton the Musical, Preludes, Ruthless the Musical

Mamma Mia and Phantom have matinees on Thursday. 

Fish in the Dark has a matinee on Friday if you want to squeeze in another show.

Schedule of currently running b'way shows

Note: There MIGHT be some variation to what traditionally plays as many shows go dark on the night of Independence Day and make up the performance somewhere in the week -- so you might luck into a few more choices on Sunday night or Monday.

Playbill hasn't yet published the variations -- and they usually do.

Make sure you double check anything listed on the Playbill schedule link provided above.  There are quite a few schedule changes, so it is not accurate for your dates.  For example, it lists Monday performances for An Act of God and Fish In the Dark.  Those shows do NOT have Monday performances while you are in NYC.  Good luck!
