If the box office opens at noon on Sundays, what time are the names drawn for the matinee lottery?

Good luck. Not to be rude, but you're gonna need it.

I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&. "Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."

Really? Has it been that busy lately? Is it just Avenue Q? How are the other lotteries/rushes?

Avenue Q is really hard to win becasue they only give out 12 tickets. So, if most people are groups of 2, then they are really only calling 6 names.

In the Heights is extremely hard to win as well as Wicked.

As far as rushes go, rush always depends on what time you get there and if it's a popular day. Rushing on Sundays is hard if you go an hour after the box office opens. I reccomend that you go to the box office of whatever show right when it opens. Easy rushes are Shrek and Guys and Dolls. However, get there early just to be safe. You can always get standing room only for shows like Chicago or Mamma Mia. Good luck! : )

Another word of advice- go to BroadwayBox.com and print out a couple of discounts of shows you are interested in seeing. Just in case you don't win lotto and you want discount tickets, but don't want to wait at TKTS.

Is Shrek rush really that easy? I heard that it's hit or miss on Sundays, though a lot of my friends have gotten great seats on weekends. I'd prefer to rush rather than the lottery. I'd just hate to miss out if they don't have rush tomorrow. Should I just get to the box office right when it opens and go for it?

Yes, going right when the BO opens is a great idea. Also, like I said before, print out some discount codes from broadwaybox.com to bring with you in case there's no rush availible and you want to see something.

I would say lotto Avenue Q, and if you lose go to Shrek. You never know until you try, I have won Avenue Q plenty of times.
