There are not many shows on a Sunday night and I was debating between the Sunday evening shows of School of Rock or Bandstand. Any opinions?
Its the last night of my 9 show week on this vacation and want to go out with a bang!
I also want to rush it either way, so it one is an easier rush, that might tip the scales for me. So any new rush reports would be very helpful.
Thanks!

I would definitely recommend Bandstand!
School of Rock, no question. Especially if you're a fan of the movie. It's a blast!!
School of Rock.
Really depends on what you're looking for. Yes, the actors play instruments in both shows, but one is a silly rock concert about kids who feel kept down by "the man," and the other is an emotional story about soldiers. I enjoyed both.

Having seen both this month, I would hands down say School of Rock. It was a return visit and Alex Brightman was even better in the role than I remembered. I went on a Sunday Night and was able to get Front Row Rush seats at 1pm for the 6pm. Bandstand didn't do it at all for me and I had seen it at Papermill prior to Broadway.

Thanks everyone. I think I will go with School of Rock. My hubby and I are both fans of the film so it will be a good show for him. He isn't much of a theatre person, so I want something fun and accessible.
Hopefully Bandstand will still be open on my next visit to NY.
