Did I miss something? Am I supposed to know what this creature is? Is it some pop-culture-pizza-hut-commercial-football-snort-in-joke that I'm just totally oblivious to?

I don't think you missed anything Foster.

You may be more lucid than I am right now. For me it was a worked-till-2am-have-to-get-up-early-not-had-coffee-yet-blurry-brained-sort of lite-hearted moment. I do think the dramatic turnaround by a prairie dog is pretty funny. Did you see the intensity on his/her (who knows with a prairie dog) face? Okay -- coffee is done. Better get a cup or two before I have the little critter nomininated for a Best Lead in a Musical Tony.
