Iam currently directing a production of JCS and I'm really struggling to come up with a concept for the Superstar number, as it juyst doesn't fit in with the rest of the show. I was just wondering if anyone had seen it done imaginatively/effectively or would be willing to share their thoughts on the number.
I am doing it with Judas, Soul Girls and a chorus.

I'm sort of floored that so many high school students are now posting these kinds of threads on this site, basically asking 'how do I do my job'?

"TheatreDiva90016 - another good reason to frequent these boards less."<<>> “I hesitate to give this line of discussion the validation it so desperately craves by perpetuating it, but the light from logic is getting further and further away with your every successive post.” <<>> -whatever2

Perhaps you could do it as if Jesus is delirious from the pain of his flogging.

Butters, go buy World of Warcraft, install it on your computer, and join the online sensation before we all murder you. --Cartman: South Park ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."

That was pretty much ho w the original was done. Jesus was delirious, elevated to an incredible height with a long gold robe. Judas and Soul sisters descended from above almost taunting him

TheatreDiva - I'm 34 years old. An old high school student I would make.
I am directing a local, amateur production and was not asking people to 'do my job', I was simply interested in other approaches to the number. I see that as part of 'my job'; to research previous productions, especially successful ones.

Ignore theatrediva. It refuses to take care of it's yeast infection and now it's grumpiness has spilled over onto it's posts.
