Ok, no one hit me, but I really loved Big. The recording is cute- it was my favorite show when I was younger and it makes me feel young at heart. Crista Moore sounds fab and who doesn't love Patrick Levis :)?
yes! A slightly flawed show, but great for kids of any age! and the score is truly amazing.

I saw the "Little Me" Revival Cast in a used CD Shop and saw that Martin Short starred in it with Faith Prince. I never heard of the show but thought with those two people it should be interesting. Long story short... it is one of my most favorite cast albums I own (which are quite a few). It is absolutely hilarious and the songs are just great. I can see why Martin Short won the Tony in 1998 for those 8 different roles!
I definitely have to agree on the new Broadway cast recording of Little Shop of Horrors. It's fantastic. I saw the show in March and listened to it non-stop for months...until I bought the Urinetown recording. I never got the chance to see the show, but the album is great. I love it...and Hunter Foster as one might guess from my selections.

Maybe its just me, but the Little Shop revival doesnt really do much for me. I enjoyed it, but I didnt love it. I think I'm just so used to the movie and the off-broadway casts(mainly Ellen Greene, who Kerry Butler was no where near as good as)that I can't accept anything new. I didnt like all the riffs that they put in(Especially Kerry in Suddenly Seymour). I did really like the trio of girls and I though Hunter was a good Seymour, but besides that I thought the show was just mediocre.
