Did anyone see her in the recent revival of "Damn Yankees" as Sister or in the original company of "Whorehouse" as Dotsy Mae? Or even in the Off-Broadway original production of "Ruthless!" She was the school teach.

I'm working with her now and she's INCREDIBLE and just want to know what she was like in those big shows

Thanks!!

I actually saw her in all three shows. I don't remember her too much in Whorehouse, apart from her song, "Doatsey Mae," which is one of the sweeter, more gentle moments in the show, and she sang it beautifully. But in Ruthless! she was a riot. Very dry, acerbic, sort of a musical comedy Eve Arden style. And the flash of her pink underwear in "Teaching Third Grade" made me laugh out loud. In Damn Yankees, she didn't have that much to do, unfortunately, but there was a funny Chorus Line reference and dance with the baseball players that she did at the top of Act Two that stood out.

Smaxie --

Thanks for the info -- She's a LOVELY lady and I'm glad to hear you loved her in all three shows.

I saw her as Martha Watson in White Christmas in San Francisco. It's a fun role and she was a lot of fun in it.

I was just going to say the same thing, Shawk. She was great in the SF White Christmas show, and had wonderful vocal chops! I was surprised to see that they opted for Karen Morrow (whom I also adore) for the WC cast album. Everyone else was from SF 2004, I believe.
