How tall is Sutton Foster, I heard a remark once that she was taller than the Maruis she played opposite of on Broadway? Does anyone know?

ok well I'm a little over 5'7' and when I meet her she was a little taller then I am. If that help.

hahaha i'm pretty sure she's 5'9"... I loved that episode of a makeover story. It was sooo cute. I taped it, but Wicked_Elphie has my tape. If you're reading this, dear, I would like that back eventually... lol

Well i'm 6'1'' and she was only like 2 or 3 inches shorter than me when i met her. She is really tall.

Yes, she's tall considering Broadway is the land of the munchkins. All the guys as well as the gals are "vertically challenged". Feel free to use your own non politically correct word instead. Most of the men are under 5'8 and most of the "tall" girls are all of 5'4" IF they're not lying. In my business, that's unheard of.

Yeah, when I saw her outside the stage door she was a bit taller than me, and I tower over most of my friends at 5'7 1/2" (its hard being a tall girl in theater lol) Anyone have a theory as to why so many people on Broadway are "munchins", so to speak?

Actually DD, Cerveris and Cantone barely hit 5'6", and that's plain short for a man. I'm not saying it's just musical theater, all the movie stars are munchkins too, they just have high paid publicists to lie for them and tack on about 4 inches to their frames and keep the shoe lifts under wraps.

"Wicked" is the cast of the midgets too! LOL. Everyone looks so tall, but its the Cheno Effect...becuase she's 4'11", she makes everyone look tall. Idina was like 3 inches taller and I'm 5'2", and Michelle Federer was as tall as me! Yay for shorties!

What other women on Broadway are tall (like 5'7"+)? I know Sutton is tall (obviously) and Natalie Venetia Belcon (Gary Coleman of Ave. Q) is fairly tall as well. I'm 5'8" and I always seem to be taller than actresses I see at the stage door. Is it much harder for taller women to be cast in shows?

Almost the entire female cast of WICKED are short. All of them. I don't even think Kristin is the shortest. Don't know how short Idina is, but she's pretty tiny too. She looks taller onstage than she really is.

i was gonna say, idina seems REALLY tall around 5'8" to me though lol...pictures of kristen standing next to idina show that idina is at least 6 inches taller...5'5" maybe?? she seems at least 5'8" or 5'9" on stage, norbert leo butz isnt taller than her
