Exactly. The problem with this is that they try to go on when they clearly aren't well and they might get through the show, but it delays them getting healthier and they miss other performances after. If this virus Sutton has is real, the best thing she could do is stay home, sleep and take as many antibiotics as possible. That way she can come back to the show in full force and not have to worry about missing performances for a while.

It is my understanding that antibiotics are contraindicated for most viruses. If she takes or loads up on too many antibiotics, she could end up with a resistant strain of bacteria, and subsequently, an infection (i.e., bacterial pneumonia) could be devastating. However, I hope they did a culture to ascertain what may be causing her illness and medicate her accordingly. Too many antibiotics could also give her a yeast infection, and I would think it would be hell to tap your heart out under those circumstances...

Star is right....antibiotics do nothing for most virus. And you can't take "as many as you can" it doesn't work that way.


Anyway...I know folks that saw Sutton just after she returned...according to them....she certainly wasnt "done with it". Im not particularly a fan, but I've never seen her NOT give it her all.

Sutton was on last night and she was fantastic, 100% on her game. I had no inkling that anything would have been wrong until I read this post today. Maybe she just had a very off night.
