Sutton Help Please

well, as some know..my moms been sick and starting to feel better has always wanted to see "Modern Millie" I wanted to get tickets for her bday in a few weeks and wanted to know if Sutton had any planned vacations? I don't mind having to see millie u/s's because i hear they are great but, she loves the cd and thinks sutton is adorable... so any help would be appreciated before i purchase tickets.

According to her official web site she just took a vacation the end of Nov. Since there is no other warning from the site (which is normally accurate) it seems she will be in (unless there is an unscheduled absences) untill the end of her run which is Jan 11.

That would be correct- she was on vacation from November 17th to the 23rd. She should be there unless she is sick or has an emergency, or something of the sorts.

It seems odd that she's leaving in almost a month, yet a replacement has not been named (unless I missed something).

I found that odd too, you'd think that if they were getting a actress people really know that they would be promoting it. Maybe they haven't sealed a deal yet or maybe they aren't getting a big name to replace Sutton?

This past Sunday's papers just featured a full page ad with Sutton's, Delta's, and Leslie's pictures with discounts for Jan 5 through mid March. It also mentioned "cast subject to change". I'm also wondering what's up? I have tickets for Jan 11 and I'm wondering if it's gonna be Sutton's finale.

I just check Sutton's fan site and it stated:
"Fair warning, to those of you who rushed for Jan 11 tickets, this may not be her final performance. More on this subject next week".

I will have more information on this next week, but it looks as if Jan. 11 may not be her last performance with the show. Not totally sure when the last performance will be, but should know next week.

A lot of her fans through the SFO Message Board were buying up Jan. 11th tickets ... I wanted to give them all a fair warning ... tickets may have to be bought at last minute.

that kind of sucks (I mean not that she's not leaving) my parents are going in to the city friday to get me tickets for christmas and they where gonna go for her last night oh well I guess I'll just tell them any day brfore then.

Oh well! Guess I'll just have to have the pleasure of seeing Sutton as Millie once again. Anyway, I'll be front and center and for only $55. Not half bad.

yeah I saw the understudy Megan Campbell playing Millie when I was in NYC and I thought she was really good too but I do wish I could have seen Sutton
