Will she remember lines this time? Wasn't that the problem with the last attempt?

I never knew she attempted this before I just can not imagine her doing a one woman show

I just don't think she is interesting enough to pull something like this off

Ken: I think you may be thinking of Farrah Fawcett, who was in Bobbi Boland in November 2003. She kept forgetting her lines and the show closed after 7 previews. The Blond in the Thunderbird will be Suzanne Somers' broadway debut.

i actually would go if i could. i have always liked her, growing up with step by step...lame I know. I too think the attendence pull might be tough but if she's got the financial support and wants to do a show more power to her

I stand corrected - it was Farrah.

Good luck Suzanne!

I don't care if Sommers is on Broadway,off-Broadway, or in the Hudson. If I want to see something akin to this, I'll go to Vegas.

I have such a gut wrench (read: UNFAIR) immediate reaction to the idea of Suzanne Somers on Broadway. It's like, yeah, I know, give her a chance; don't judge before you see it. Suddenly, I feel a moral obligation to see her show because I am so closeminded about it. gak!

As she lives in Palm Springs, I have met her, and she is an interesting woman. I'm just wondering hown "real" the show will be......especially in regards to how Alan pushed her and pushed her in regards to the Three's Company situation, to the point where she didn't have a job.

I'm sure she puts on a great show

Next it will be Suzanne and Joyce DeWitt starring in "Chicago".

She is booked for 8 weeks and ought to be booked for 2-3, and her price scale is 90 and 70 with premium seats at 200 which is pricing our her core audience. $25-60 is more like it. She is more a Westbury-Garden State Arts Center type personality.

I wish her well, but do not think this is a sound entertainment business enterprise.

It's obviously a vanity production.

i was just sitting here wondering why the hell this show was titled "the blonde in the thunderbird" and then i remembered that she made her movie debut in "american graffiti" as the what else? "blonde in the thunderbird"...lol

vanity production or not at least it's original and can't be half as bad as some of the crap already running on broadway.

"Original"?! What's original about a Lounge Act?

I don't know why but the idea makes me uncomfortable. I have a feeling that if I were to see the show I would just be awkward the whole time.

She's a silly lady.

nmartin it's a show about her life obviously told through vignettes and songs. would you call billy crystal's one man show a "lounge act". would you call jackie mason's one man show's a lounge act? how about dame edna's. gimme a break.
