Sweeney 2/23

I saw Sweeney yesterday at the matinee and thought the production was very well executed and everyone was extremely nice at the stage door. I believe several of you were there as I overheard some people talking about BWW at the stage door, any comments from you guys? if anyone wants a review of specific parts I'd be glad to answer.

I was there yesterday too!! My friend and I were probably the people you are referring to talking about BWW! I completely agree with you, the cast was extremely nice at the stage door and the play was just amazing!! Especially because when Patti was singing (I forget which song) she was looking at me...it was simply amazing!!

What my friend meant is that during the show Patti looked at her while she was singing one of the songs. we had fourth row seats and they were incredible. The show was was so good yesterday and we were probably the ones talking about BWW at the stage door afterwards. I loved the effect they did when Sweeney killed someone. everyone was great. glad other people liked it as well

Ah, that makes more sense. If Patti looked at me while she was singing, I'd probably faint or something, so I guess I hope that never happens.

Patti usually doesn't come out after the matinee, so this must be a pretty rare occurrence anyway.

Yeah, the stage door gal, who was really cool lol, told us that she doesn't come out during matinees, so we waited to meet a couple more people and then left. I really only wanted to meet Manoel and Michael, but I would have loved to meet Patti, just because I've heard so many stage door stories about her.

Yea i'm pretty sure you were standing right across from me, I'm the one that the stage door woman said my mom would be angry that I didn't have a coat on I had on a maroon sweater, the women at the stage door was extremely nice.

Awwww DRS I saw the night show on the 22nd! Booo we could have met if I had just went to the matinee!
